In September 2008, the Community Design Center of Pittsburgh hosted the 2nd Annual Pittsburgh Design Fair for House Garden that featured a “Green Living” theme that highlighted eco-friendly products for a healthy home. This one day event, held at The Priory’s Grand Hall on the North Side, attracted over 850 attendees. According to an on-site survey:
